A ‘typical’ day of the life at L’Abri…
8:00 am – community breakfast (consisting of cereal, granola, or muesli. and bad coffee, but good people.)
9:30 am – work (cooking, cleaning, baking bread, doing laundry, or working the grounds)
11:00 am – tea break (with a side of ping-pong)
11:30 am – back to work
1:00 pm – formal lunch (“so, what should we discuss today?”)
3:00 pm – study (reading, journaling, thinking, praying, meditating, looking at the Alps)
6:30 pm – community dinner
After dinner – hang out, ping-pong, pub, go to the targets, puzzles, go on a walk, dance parties, read, sleep, whatever, etc.

I love it.
Hello, Switzerland. It’s good to meet you.

I’m here at L’Abri in Switzerland! I still find myself overwhelmed that I’m actually here. I love it here – the mountains, the people, the smells, the sounds, the culture, the discussions, the community. You know those times when you’re so content and glad in the present situation that there is nowhere else that you’d rather be? It’s like that.
Greatefulness and Anticipation

Flying to Switzerland in the morning and will be there for 2.5 months. Can hardly believe it. May God’s good will be done and may I love and enjoy Him deeply. I don’t know what to expect, but I can’t wait. Looking forward to the long plane ride to rest, think, and pray.
Goodbye America. Hello L’Abri!
Hello world!
